Our 27th Annual 12 Hours of Salvation Toy Drive embraces these values by ensuring every child in our community can enjoy the joy of the season. This event is more than just collecting toys; it’s about showing compassion and creating an unforgettable holiday experience for the youth in Winnebago County.
Lou Bachrodt partners with the Winnebago Salvation Army to collect toys. Toys donated through this initiative are symbols of hope, reminding children that others care about them. The event is a vibrant coming together of our community, with entertainment and ample opportunities to volunteer. It’s where the holiday spirit meets genuine goodwill, bringing smiles to little faces and warmth to many hearts.
How to Help In Our Community
Make a difference by doing one of the following!
- Donate New Toys: Bring unwrapped, new toys suitable for children of all ages. Think of items that bring joy, encourage creativity, or simply offer comfort.
- Volunteer Your Talent: We’re lining up acts for entertainment throughout the day!
- Spread the Word: Not everyone can attend, but everyone can help! Share our toy drive with family, friends, and colleagues to spread the spirit of giving even further.
- Make a Financial Donation: Can’t make it in person? Donate at salarmy.us/12hours, which allows us to purchase additional toys and essentials for children in need.
